Arwyn is a native of Denbigh. He was a founder member of the choir and immediately became the Deputy Musical Director. Upon the death of Mrs Phyllis Dodd MBE in April 2001, Arwyn took over as Musical Director and has continued to improve the choir's performance and repertoire. He was also a chorister with Cantorion Colin Jones and continues to be a chorister with the Denbigh and District Choral Society.

A native of Adfa near Llanfair Caereinion, Powys, Joyce now lives in Llanddulas. Whilst in school she won the piano playing competition at the Urdd National Eisteddfod on two occasions. She qualified as a Teacher from the University of Wales College of Education, Cardiff where she gained a distinction in Advanced Main Music. Joyce also has a Performer’s Diploma in piano playing and is an Associate of the Trinity College of Music, London. For many years she was in charge of music in primary schools in Colwyn Bay and Prestatyn and has taught many pupils to play the piano. She is also one of the accompanists to Côr Meibion Colwyn.
